Commission cuts will see many reps picked off this year. Then maybe Stryker management will reverse course on punishing their sales force

The options elsewhere are thin at best now that Biomet/Zimmer are together. Honestly where is the grass greener? With the increase for surgeons on pka reimbursements mako will grow significantly, now that business is in our bag 6% isn't as terrible as it seemed in January.

This Zimmer thing is big news. Give the Biomet Doc's access to Zimmer products and they have locked in even stronger relationships. Stryker will be out manned which will cause some long term problems. Stryker will need to cut territories and get some more feet on the street. This is no joke. Bigger than people are giving credit. The strategy required is way beyond the current Sales VP and the AVP's David F needs to look outside for some strategic help.

I saw one of my HCA hospital flip Stryker last year. I would agree that JNJ may be lagging in the aggressiveness of Stryker to bundle products but the shear scope of JNJ's ability to cover so many areas with the companies they own and the fact that device is now JNJ's biggest revenue producer tells me that they will hit their stride soon. They have billions in revenue from other internal divisions to throw at other companies to buy and really they are new to the device management area. I see Zimmer biomet as a late comer that lacks the Capitol to buy and buy until they catch Strtker or JNJ. The Depuy-Synthes rep will take a hit on commission dollars but it's going to happen. It's Highlander territory. There can be only one.

Wouldn't be surprised to see Depuy make a bid for S&N. Their VP of Sales just quit and they just launched a new tower.

You sounded so credible until you used the word "capitol" and showed you're just another poser desperately trying to sound enlightened. Learn proper English before you post again.

Zimmer is crushing it. If you have stock in your comp plan, you're loving life right now.

What!!! I work at a non Zimmer competitor and we have territory analysis data showing they aren't number one in any region in the country over all product categories. They have their niches in spots where they are number one but in totality across all disciplines is zero.
