What do you REALLY wear in the field?

    The above is bull and nothing but an inane rambling.

    As an MSL (not sales you idiot) dress to your company standards. Some are cool with suits, others are fine with jacket and no tie. Either way no one really cares. Customers judge you by what you know.

    I wear tight polyester slacks with no underwear. It's improved my sales tremendously. I was rep of the month in February.

    Regardless of what I'm wearing I make sure to wrap a zucchini in foil and stick it in my trousers. I just have to be careful going through TSA security.

    Wear nice slacks, collared shirt and a jacket. Tie optional most places but recommended in the NE. If you are in a rural area you can lose the jacket and consider a polo golf shirt instead of a long-sleeve shirt.

    Some companies are more casual or don't care. Some companies make a big deal of where a suit and tie. When in doubt or if your manager is riding along step it up a level.
