For burden and count what you need is beat by beat, whether that's holter or telemetry. And then the algorithm to produce & report it.

Agreed, I am openly questioning the devices ability to perform these tasks given the fact that this information is not included yet in the report? One would think that it would not be added later and or turned on later? I suspect that much like Seeq the device is limited/incapable in detection of single beats. Time will tell what the capabilities of the patch are but i assume many of the the event patients will not even get this device who do not have documented HF. It will be a very typical bate and switch. I am sure that the big centers with KOL's who have their hand turned up for some "research funding" will only see the patch. But the rest of the world will be forced to abide by reality and get what is available from a inventory standpoint.

I think it is time for you CN folks to start to worry, Boston is taking you on and taking your business, as in the relationship game there is not much challenge. It is not the small companies that will take you down it will be the big CRM companies. And they will have enough devices to service the accounts. Doing lunch and hoping someone stops in is very different from seeing the doctor in a procedure, so I would be keeping good contact with you large accounts.............

Seemed logical that nobody would respond, as every time BSX has gone into a CN account they take it easily and quickly. This thing is just getting started, so hold on to your hats boys and girls....

so far the Boston folks who are talking about monitoring in my accounts are sticking their foot in their mouths. They think that just because they're friendly with the docs they know what the doc is looking for in monitoring. So far from what I'm seeing, they're making a mess of it.

Is the bodyguardian patch a 2 way patch or only working as telemetry? If 2 way, does a practice have to choose how it works or does preventice remotely do it based on insurance? If up to the practice are patient getting large bills? Thanks

Large layoff at eCardio (Preventice). Lots of technical staff... like they do not expect much in the future.

Ecardio's software is a remake of the old 80's Paceart software that uses the Veritas device made by TZ that is the size of a ribeye steak. Pacemaker reps think they want to get involved in this business and then when the problems start they run off like a freed slave.

    No future for Preventice.
I predict a year at best before they start selling off pieces or closing doors to offices.
