After all that has happened up to this point, you expect them to suddenly do something that makes some sort of sense?

Pure comedy to watch some of the hotshot managers demoted down to reps again.

California was a joke! They went out of their way to retain managers at the expense of the business. Some managers still have teams of 6-7 reps! Wasn't that the issue we were trying solve?!! My God! 6 reps?!! REALLY?!! What a joke! Message to Field Managers: DO NOT WEAR OUT YOUR WELCOME WITH TOO MANY FCRs! You do not need to spend days and hours with your reps making call after call after call after call. You get in and get out. You realize that the Sales Excellence Coaches are still in play..right? You realize that the structure of your teams have potentially 4 people overlapping..right? You realize that many of your reps have more experience than you..right? Make your presence as scarce as possible. All of our days are numbered. My prediction is that we will have a 25% cut in reps next year and a 50% cut in managers. Enjoy the next 12 months because when the new CEO steps in...changes are a coming!

been here since 1999.....managers are golden, no matter what you think...we all agree, but the higher-ups will never do anything to them...you are wasting your breath !

I'm glad no one lost their job. That speaks to the strength of the company and the product line we are selling. I am happy that it was only a realignment shifting managers.
    Fantastic!
Now, for everyone that complains about nothing, wait 'til you hear all of our friends at other big pharma share their 20-30% layoffs.
    Keep it in perspective.
We have a strong respiratory portfolio.
We have commanding share of voice versus our competitors.
We have equal, or better, managed care coverage than our competitors.
Check their boards, they are feeling the pressure to compete with us. We are beating them on most fronts. We are eating away at their market share. And now, with all of our experienced reps concentrating on the respiratory porfolio, we are unstoppable.

We're in sales cause we're competitive. We've been riding easy for too long.
    Wanna get competitive?
Now, it's time to play hard.

If I had to pick a job with us or our competitors, I'd stay right here.
    My money is on us.

    We are building momentum.

So be proud to be GSK.
