Derm is being sold. Buyers include Merz and Jonah Shacknai

Yes, I heard the exact same. Buckle up and enjoy the ride! Good luck to all.

Future speculation - Jonah will buy, rebuild value and sell off to Allergan as soon as he can turn a profit.

There is a list of assets for sale that has been sent to the BD folks at several companies.

I could post it here but that would be unfair.

Please post the list. Employees with families to feed need to know if their job is in jeopardy.

Derm will be gone by the end of the year. Obagi will be gone before that. This will be a complete fire sale to the highest bidder.

    How about the Dendreon business?

Heard from my manager Dendreon is being sold. Not sure if it means it's being put on the market or they already have a buyer for it.

sell the four Corporate jets at Morristown airport. Should bring 100 million plus reduce costs by millions.
Unfortunately Executives will have to fly commercial and MP will be pissed he cannot fly them to his vacation hope during the severance period.
Maybe Bill A will let him use his G-5 to get around. Hear Bill may offer MP a job latter in high finance. o_O

So if I'm interviewing with Salix, should I take a look at the company or run for the hills?

Everything if great over on the Salix side. Go for it, we'd love to have you. Best in class products, good leadership, good managed care coverage, great bonus structure.

Salix people: Does anyone have any insight on the DM for the Virginia territory? There's a position open I am thinking of applying for, I'm not sure if it's a Polaris or Integra position. If anyone knows anything about it and the current management-Im all ears. I'm a current employee and wondering if I should try and transfer....thanks

And you're posting this question here on a topic about selling off businesses? I'll bet you'll be good with developing leads.
