Territory lines are A HOT MESS. We are crisscrossing on top of each other. Driving through 1 2 or even 3 territories to get to parts of our own. Some reps never cross the street and others are driving 3 and 4 hours. No wonder they didn't want to tell us what our territories would be before hiring.

How many reps are in Houston, Dallas and Austin?

Good lord, suck it up. I'm driving 3hrs to the furthest part of my territory, who cares? Bear in mind we are paid an insane amount of money to do what we do. No one is crawling into a coal mine, curing cancer, or running into a burning building.

Agreed, it's not a hard physical job, and but it's difficult when these guys don't care about Shire and DNA. I've had many tell me with hostility to quit wasting their time and not to come back until I have something. There is no statistical way I can make 7 calls/day, especially after losing 15 targets with 'territory maintenance'
    Gimme something to sell!

Yes I have to drive through another territory to get to some of my targets. 3hrs? Cry me a river, I'd gladly take a larger territory bc I have access issue's. My territory in the past has been as large as all the reps here are covering, and I'd gladly go back to a larger territory because I'm bored. You know once this all shakes out in a few years they will have a realignment, realize they fucked up and lay people off. Besides we all know that the territories down south get all the coverage, if you're anywhere else you're screwed when this launches until at least 8-12 months out.

Bored too. Wish I had a product. Having said that, boredom > trying to hang on to my postop accounts at the old place. As far as access issues, I doubt that will be a problem when we have a product.

What are you talking about? That person said boredom was better than trying to hang on to postop accounts at the OLD place (as in their FORMER employer) for which I completely agree.
