2016 commission hit

My distributor says they've been hit 1/2 - 1 point and of course are passing it off on us. Anyone else have the same hit?

Happened to Synthes reps why not us. Happy AAOS. Be happy it's no more than a point

 

At least synthes reps get health benefits and profit sharing. We get a cut and zero benefits.

 

What is the commission rate as a Synthes employee for Recon?

 

I'm down to 6% with no expenses paid and get charged by my distributor for numerous things. Not sure how much lower it can go. Might as well hire volunteers at this point.

How such a large and profitable company like J&J can allow this to happen to their sales force is mind boggling. Why they leave their products in the hands of these distributors is truly unbelievable.

 

If you are getting 6% from your distributor you should call Zimmer, Stryker, or smith and nephew immediately. Our distributor still has us at 10%. 6% is what Stryker pays and at least they have good benefits
