    Where do I start?

Dms are being downsized already. They are the worst in the industry these days. Balancing patent first, the awful new 1-5 system, and the reality of being in sales. Its a sad combination of crap that equates to no value added from DM to rep. They rank on a BS criteria system thats like an audition at best. Lies on feedback and ratings. Make it up as they go.

The RVP are worthless, I know one RVP Asthma KL never worked in sales, doesn't live in the territory, never visits territories, can't coach, doesn't really help, and is NOT a leader. She schedules conference calls and sends texts out.....Whoopie, how hard is that????????????? I can't believe this woman scammed someone into letting her be a senior leader! This is just one example of worthless management who brought this company down.

You get lies from two levels of line leaders and we wonder why morale is so low!

My suggestion is for you to just leave. There are plenty of positions at KFC or McDonalds that would be a better fit. I know the lady to which you refer and she is terrific. She mentioned to me what a slacker you are, that's why she gave you a four. She was going to give you a five but you started to tear up.

WE have way too many DM's. I am a 20 year veteran and I've already have 5 two day ride-alongs with my DM as well as 2 with the Field Coach and it's the start of May. The offices are getting very upset and closing down because every two weeks literally someone is in my car with me. Before you say "slacker" I've always performed better than the nation and region and have been exceptional in rankings.
It's only going to get worse when the DM's go to only 3 territories with 8-9 people. They should be handling 12-14 people and do more than just delegate work nonsense. Instead of riding with us constantly, how about doing the scut work they continuously have as run? How about helping with the tedium of the next new territory analysis bs that they want to see from each territory. How about riding more with people that are underperforming. How about taking the lead in speakers programs that are terrible? Everytime my boss calls, I'm like WHAT NOW? None of it makes sense, it's all knee jerk reactions and still management doesn't listen to the reps. If you speak up, they threaten you with a poor ranking. Same old, same old. GSK will never learn

I have had 12 ride alongs in 5 months. A years worth in 5 months!!! Yup- 2 each month from FLL and 2 from sales coach. Manager has only 5 people on team, and micro managed us all. We are all doing well but I can say that 24 days have been wasted with those ride alongs. When you ride with managers that much it slows you down and the next day I need to go back and apologize to all the offices I took him to because they despise him!!!!!!!!!

This speaks volumes, there is a reason why the current atmosphere is the way it is. Those baby boomers and Gen Xers ran rampant with corruption for years! Then Have the audacity to mock those who point the wrong doings out.

Gsk pays so many fines it's not even funny. There's a reason why we are closely watched by the government.

there are surveys that are being sent out randomly. It is about employee engagement. There is a write in portion. Make your concerns known. They do read the surveys and it wouldn't surprise me if enough people complained, that a change wouldn't be made. Even if the change was that the manager worked 1/2 a day with us vs a full day..or worse, two days in a row that they count as one work contact.

Make your voice heard about the amount of "work contacts" we currently have. Too many by any standard. Tell your new manager. Tell your RSD. Tell Deborah, Cheryl, and Jack! Write it in the survey! squeaky wheel gets the grease. Also, Executives such as Jack and Deborah are on thin ice. A new CEO is coming to town. He/She will assess current management performance. If sales are average and morale is low, there will be a whole new management team. So make your voice heard then get your a$$ out and sell. Explain to Jack B. and company that ride-alongs for 8 hours straight, calling on the same docs your counterpart just called on two days prior is killing us and our access to out customers! Then three weeks later the process begins again with the SEC! This is a horrible business model! Make your voice heard! This is not a minor complaint! It's legitimate and needs to be changed! Any manger worth their salt knows how to work with a rep for a full day without technically working a full day...Meet in the morning and revivew territory performance for 30 mins. Review top customers. Make one call then go to a lunch-inservice. Maybe make a call after lunch. Sit down for coffee and complete the field work contact report. leave rep by 4pm...all that and you only had to make 3 calls...vs meet at 8 AM and being making call after call after call. Manager back to car at 5:30. Wake up next morning and do it all over again....It's so brutal! Counterproductive! It's time for a paradigm shift people! MAKE YOUR VOICES HEARD!!!!

People in an audience or meeting listen to a speaker for an average of 6 minutes. People reading a post lose the thought after 3 sentences.......you have failed miserably. No one read anything after 3 sentences.

Be brief, be fast, be on target with the few seconds you have Sparky. What did you say in 3 sentences ?

If you didn't have these contacts by your manager, you would be hanging out at Starbucks and the gym half the day. Quit already.

The work contacts are extension of the diastaser that was created by the grey hairs. All the illegal stuff they did made this DM mess. The Cia agreement made sales into a legal clusterf*ck and the managment structured into the same.

    Thanks old timers!

How original from a GSK Kool aid drinker: the infamous and inane and 20 year old "If you don't like it here, Walmart is hiring!".

And we wonder why we're in the position we are today. These $160,000 a year baboons can't even think of an original insult or put-down.
