Pharma has done well so far under socialized meds but it will soon crash. Problem is the money is about to run out as they are about 24 million smart folks who never signed up and $19 trillion in the hole. No young person in their right mind would agree to pay the freight that the "Affordable" health care wants them to pay.

 

No layoffs and Q1 is in the books. Could be a good sign that all the deep cuts arent as helpful as expected. Perhaps the looming sale of EAS and Zone has shifted the focus of cutting employees that make less than 70,000 per year and are really the backbone of the operation. Glad to see Heather making good decisions!

IT infrastructure staff layoffs occurred Monday April 11th in most sites in Europe. Spain, Italy, Germany, France and Ireland. All staff replaced with WiPro from India.

How this is not making news is bonkers.

I was not attempting to save the IT department as the contract had already been signed. The purpose of posting on this board or any Anonymous board is to raise awareness of the issues we are all facing that our so called leaders are causing, failing to see or are willingly ignoring. Not only in America but abroad as well. If you cannot understand the importance of that well that's your problem not mine.

The market itself will rain the punishment on Abbott and all other companies that replace their valuable talent in favor of cheep slave labor. I for one will avoid spending my money on any Abbott product or any companies product or service that removes talented employees in favor of cheep slave labor.

May 27th, All EU IT staff finish up. Most have had to train their own replacement much like their US colleagues.

Pity we wont be there to see the mess happen as WiPro try to cover the work without experience and knowledge.

The Abbott business and Abbott customers will soon suffer because of this.

 

and that isnt the end another major layoff announcement will happen on june 3rd.
