    The answer is quite simple. Higher volume sales at a lower margin will yield the same net profit.

    Come on generics!! The faster they hit and the bigger the profits erosion means the breakup of GSK and finally some return to the long suffering shareholders.

    Mylan's generic will hit likely February or March. Hikma's will be second, and a third will come from Teva next year.

    this dude might die from a hangover when the punch bowl runs out. How can so many be clueless at gsk. Consumer will do 1-2 b on a record breaking year, vaccines 900m during a pandemic. How much does Advair do annually?

    $4 billion can easily be made up by high volume sales in places like Africa and Bangladesh.
