Overzealous BMS and Pfizer managers pushing sales reps to sell eliquis to oncologists under the guise of "oh its a DVT specialist" is just same old games as the celebrex / bextra days managers pushing reps to sell for acute pain knowing damn well it was off label promotion. Its the old wink wink nod nod "we dont want you to say anything off label but if it just happens to come up then go ahead and get that business". "whatever you do don't Compare and Win our eliquis with xarelto because that's a no no, but make sure you show the differences and contrast the outcomes from the clinical trials". Next week we probably will be asked to add Pediatrics to our call list. Same old song and dance from management. I am sure there is some lawyer out there just waiting to latch onto another big settlement check $$$ with the FDA for promotional activities outside the boundaries.
