I think it's actually a good ad - the tomorrow as. A bit fear mongering but overall I think effective.

Paid off. Ad sucks. It's a lie, and total pile of steaming BS.
How did this crap ever get approved? Poison.

I came to the Novartis board to post about this commercial and was happy to see there was already a thread.

The man singing "tomorrow" in the shower just looks silly. It's too bad they couldn't have gone with a hipper song than one from Annie.
What would have been a hipper song?

    Freedom ( Pharrell)?
Where is my mind (The Pixies) -- might be better for an Alzheimer's drug

Yes, such poor taste commercial. It just makes the industry look so bad and even unethical.
Whoever approved it should be fired! I mean, all the pharma commercials shouldn't be allowed by the regulators. Let's think about this, they are addressed to the patient BUT the doctor writes the the script based on medical info and diagnosis, so of the Doctor says drug A, the patient says drug B because I saw it in a commercial and it's just right for me .....ah the greed oh that greed!!! Bravo pharma! Bravo Novartis

the providers think it is ridiculous and irresponsible ploy to create fear to drive sales. I spent more time having a cardiologist pick on me and the company for this than selling at a lunch today. A joke...writing is on the wall- we are the same primary care sales company. There is nothing specialist or partnering with our approach. I am not surprised we are seeing people leave for personal reasons.

How about "Final Countdown" by Europe, like in the Gicko commercial where they microwave something.

They should redo the commercial with people singing songs by Prince....

    1999
    When Doves Cry
    Purple Rain

The regulators???? If you mean the FDA they see it before it launches and make comments.

You are absolutely wrong! The fda does not 'see' the commercial! It can ask questions and conduct an investigation subsequently, but not prior to airing a commercial. What is wrong with the commercial is that it is in POOR taste...it is not reflective of a high ethic and compliance Corp like Novartis says it is....yeah, right...just look at fines they have paid!!

Hate the commercial. People look like they have both feet in the grave while singing about another tomorrow. I've been a certified heart failure patient for ten years. Work two jobs. Have for the whole time. May die tomorrow but I'm happy to say so far I'm do more than healthy people half my age. Also know other hard working folks with chf.

Had NO idea you needed to be "certified" to have HF. Do you look like you have both feet in the grave, or just one?...
