I guess, if you want to essentially be primary care again.

VPC is EARNED after 5pm on Fridays! You need to be in the Units selling. In the EDs. In the pharmacies. Hospitals are open all weekend. No reason you can't sell then when not as many gatekeepers are around.

VPC at Pfizer is EARNED, not given.

    Said the clueless DM.

    Let me guess:
    • You are ex-military. Do I need to say more?
    • You have no knowledge of the hospital landscape and do not call on institutions daily. I guess it is easier to drop "sound bites" like the ones above than actually do the "grunt" work.
    • I'm guessing you are married and have children but would rather spend all your time riding with reps because your knowledge/experience is so important. It's much easier to tell someone "how to do it" than actually doing it because you can't. That's ok because your family hates you as much, if not more, than your "team", and enjoy the time your not home.
    • Clients hate you. In your quest to sound important and relevant, you talk just to talk, without any knowledge of the client in question, or what they do or their role within the hospital. It doesn't matter to you. Then it is my job to clean up your mess.
    • I would rather drink Mexican tap water than listen to you on a conference call or talk to you on the phone. I can only image the horror your family must endure when you are actually home and they have to talk to you in person.
    • National meetings? The only positive is that other DM's comment negatively about you and I get the chance to let them know what a douche bag you really are. It also makes me sad because I actually see how other DM's are and wish I could be adopted. I guess I now know how your kids feel.
    • Did I mention how sick and tired we are of hearing about your military background? The military is embarrassed and prefer that you not talk about that.
    Sincerely,

Your district. It is not a "privilege" to work with you.

    Typical DM.

Always telling someone what to do and how to do it, yet actually doing nothing. How about you EARN your paycheck and actually contribute revenue to the organization. You don't do anything during the week so practice what you preach and call on some hospitals this weekend. Take lollipops into the ED this weekend so you can distinguish yourself and be known as the lollipop guy. Everyone loves lollipops and everyone will love you. Isn't that what you tell your reps?

    What a tool.

Pfizer, you have to have better options than this guy

The DM is right. You need to put in an honest day's work.
