  1. at what point does an organization finally wake up and realize a leader is failing his people? we just sat through amazing training in lovely dallas and our leader not only demotivated the entire team with his rambling on town hall about why mike ryan wasn't there and how oncology thinks we are incompetent in every way but then leads us by intimidation and threats. is this really how people lead teams in 2016? listening to many other rae's last week reinsured me that i was not being to critical of how bad he is for our team. he is much worse. any one else want to comment?

AMEN. Could not say it any better. He walks around Plainsboro smiling at everyone but watch your back around him. I have heard him talk bad about nearly everyone he works with. He is known internally as the weasel for a reason. The reason the RAE team feels like oncology doesn't trust them, is directly related to how he represents you to other BUs. I have heard him say that many of you are incompetent and should not be part of this organization. Just know that many in the home office are with you and agree its time for him to move on.

Content of the meeting was good regardless what those dipshits in oncology believe. It would just be nice if our leader actually had faith in us and trusted us a little more. Yes he micromanages, yes he is more dictorial then most leaders, yes he is probably been over promoted in this current role but he is nice guy outside of work and that should count for something. We should not fire him but instead find a role that he does not have to lead people and he will be fine. Perhaps the cashier in the lunch room? He did come from finance.

Let that snake crawl back into his hole and never be seen again. It is time to remove all rodents and reptiles from BMS.

Yeah that meeting was bad from his leadership position. He just sat there playing with his phone and talking to the home office VIPs. Not very impressed with his town hall either. Really missed a great opportunity to solidify why we are where we are and how he is helping to back his team internally. Walked away feeling like he was just not that supportive of us as a group and he was not going to fight the 5th floor unless told to by Mike Ryan. I find that really sad for a leader to convey to his team.

I've worked with John for years and while he is not a strong team leader, he is really good politically inside PLSBO. That's why he is where he is.

  7. So, let me get this right- you are not happy with my little protege? Damn, I thought he so much potential.

I personally taught him how to treat people like crap, talk about others behind their backs and mislead those idiots upstairs. Sort of like what I did with our new organization lol. Wasn't that beautiful.

Give him time. He will learn exactly the "speed and technique" that Mike really likes and he will Suck-CEed like he always has.

Ehret is a complete scum bag that our team hates and doesn't trust. He is the poster child of a snake, a weasel, or puppet. Call it what you want, he is horrible.

When most of your team, including RBDs talk about how bad it is, it's bad. He needs to go and soon.

Put someone in that we respect and can work for. We dont want a BMS lifer. Get us someone that knows how to lead or who can focus on supporting us internally. John is neither. He is way to negative and only criticizes his team. What ever happened to praising good actions?

Mike, you need to clean house and reset what we are about. Ehret is holding us in the past.

Only you can make this place better. We expect this to be done soon, as you are our new leader.

Love it. Add one here too. I hear Ehret is pissed now that he has to report to Alan. Our Director told us those two don't get along and it's probably a move to get him out of Value Access soon.

You nailed it. Two little fuckers with even less talent or ethics. Didn't have a lot of interaction with TH, but JE is the posterchild of a pathetic leader who has no talent and even less respect from from his team. Glad to see that asshole got demoted. The entire team is laughing their asses off now that he is reporting to AT.

Well John and Alan truly hate each other. Alan always said John was a know it all. Clearly MR did not know that. Sit back and watch them both implode. Neither have talent. Alan lost Gov Affairs and that team is cheering. He was clueless about anything gov affairs and all those who worked under him just humored him, at least MR figured that out.

Beware AT is worse than JH. Very two faced and does not trust anyone on his team. Talks behind everyone's back.

Okay, I have really tried to keep my mouth shut and not complain here, but WTF!!! Ehret is a worse then people say. Not only does he forget what we talk about, but he then changes the words and makes his people look incompetent. Not sure if the guy is going senile or what, but someone,"MR", needs to put that pony to pasture. It's only been a few weeks, but I see what the other directors were warning us about. Someone has been "road hard and put out wet" one to many times.

Not sure who is the bigger dipshit, Ryan or Ehret?

The fact that Ehret still has a job here is puzzling. Doesn't Ryan recognize that this idiot has zero talent and is just sucking money from our company. Had my 1:1 with him recently and he provided me no direction, no guidance and no value. All he wanted to know was who I was calling on, when was that meeting and any objections in that call. We are paying him way too much money to babysit a very talented group of NAEs.

Alan got it. He was strategic in his discussions, gave praise where appropriate and we always knew he had our backs. Not so with Ehret. All he does is hound on the negatives and provides zero value to those of us reporting to that pathetic leader.

Ryan please wake up and make some changes. It's your legacy now that is taking a hit. Poor leadership is a reflection up, not down on us. The longer you keep him in that role, the more you lose our respect.
