Have you noticed unintelligent/unqualified reps given promotions or regional responsibilities based solely on their ability to network into these positions? I've observed a disturbing upward trend as of late.

No, but I would say every single person in management absolutely sucks.

i will say in my region the experienced oncology reps are isolated, put on a pip or marginalized. All the new non-experienced oncology staff love to stuff together and promote how important they all are to each other.

Yes. But, I observed this when I started, over 15 years ago.

What have you done to position yourself for promotions or regional responsibilities ? Have you expressed interest in anything, volunteered to take on projects or work for the region or district? I'm guessing not and you just feel like people should come find you ...

This this has Tim Hogue from CV all over it. He's not unintelligent, he's just very lazy and weasels his way into these type of roles.

I'm consistently staggered at the widespread inability of many posters on here who cannot spell and cannot proof read a simple paragraph.
    Your / you're
    Where / were / we're
The list goes on. And you work in a regulated industry where details matter?

Fkn hilarious and tragic at the same time

98% of sales reps are totally dependent on marketing telling them what to say. They don't solve problems, they have very shallow knowledge level, therefore they should stay as reps or move to pizza delivery.

I couldn't agree more with the post on Tim Hogue. He is very lazy, but somehow works his way into situations. He is not a leader, he is a dud that has many in management fooled. He will throw anyone under the bus to make himself look better.

Yet another corporate marketing stooge showing their disdain for Field sales. So classic. Jealous we aren't chained to a desk? Here is a secret.. We don't only say what you tell us to say all day. That would shut down our access. And our sales pay your salary. You are welcome arrogant fuck.
