Do you think their "Re-organization" schemes are just ways to hide their unlawful terminations?

Well, this will be the second time that Cardinal Health has faced such a claim. Where there is smoke, there is usually fire! This especially reigns true when the positions vacated are re-hired for soon afterwards!

Nothing surprises me with this company. I hope they get what they deserve.

What category of attorney should I contact as the climate has turned increasingly toxic working at Cardinal? Unlawful terminations have occurred at Cardinal and I don't trust management. I want to be armed for a worst case scenario event. In light of the INCO debacle at HPG, who knows what management will do. Those who lost this contract will slime their way out of the noose and look to blame others. Who knows who will be scapegoated and terminated.

You would normally seek out someone who practices Employment or Labor Law. Be advised, in most states, you will first have to file with the Federal Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC). The EEOC will either take up the case itself, or give you a Right To Sue Letter allowing you to seek and use a private attorney. Make sure that you start documenting EVERYTHING including dates of actions of wrongdoing by Cardinal. It will be important to show discriminating actions toward your (protected class) and that of another be it race, gender, age, etc. Don't forget, Cardinal cannot terminate you "Unlawfully" so be expected to show why you think it was with FACTS!

Most importantly, keep your eyes open for witnesses or anyone who may have experienced the same thing....EEOC loves to see a pattern or multiple individuals affected!

UPDATE!!! Damage control is underway in Arkansas. A manager was terminated, and a Supervisor who was discriminately set in place was DEMOTED!!! More EEOC filings to be served!!!

Update! The termination of the Manager and demotion of another employee had nothing to do with an EEOC claim. It was a result of poor leadership and office politics. The employees impacted were wonderful people that were invested in working to see that a failing business segment succeeded.

In many states the private attorney will file everything for you. You don't need permission from the EEOC. Cardinal is the worst of the worst. Even HR is corrupt. Get out of there as fast as you can. But - if you can make them pay for it on your way out, it's worth the effort.

This is just about the dumbest post I've ever read. I am considered a "protected class" employee and I have never been treated better or more fairly at any other company than how I am treated at Cardinal. As far as these firings in Arkansas, we have or had a big customer service team based there and they were terrible! If they let a lot if people go it makes sense bc I haven't had any issues recently with the customer service team. It was something that everyone was aware of and everyone complained about, myself included. The people answering the phones were terrible and not helpful. They told a supply chain analyst from a major well known national hospital system to call back bc they couldn't find their account number by searching for the hospital's name. Terrible. Hopefully they were all fired.

Ummm, do you even work for Cardinal? The inco business at HPG was barely profitable that losing the business hasn't made much of a dent in our numbers. Also, Medline picked up this business at such a low profit margin that they are not paying their reps commissions on it. Whoever started this thread is just trying to stir up some fear mongering.
