I have a dme business that I've been trying to sell out to Rotech for the last two years, and they won't bite. Could it be that they've pulled out of my area? There used to be a Rotech location nearby that closed a couple years ago. This would be the perfect oppurtunity for Rotech to again have a presence here.
I think i have a plan to save Rotech money for which to sink back into the locations. Instaed of opening and closing billing locations, sub contract the billing operations to an Indian firm. There are lots of them. My Comcast service, for instance. Rotech should embrace the 21st century.
I could see the Cpap compliance duties getting farmed out overseas but billing dme is complex and requires too much communication to get testing data and notes and signed documents. It would be a disaster. Half the time our state side BCC staff is misinformed so imagine the chaos. If offshore only worked received queue that might work. Stateside could review any documents unrejected. Might speed things up and free up BCC to clean up error codes and holds.
How Hilarious would that be? A physician's office trying to understand an Indian's broken english. .......while discussing cmn's and doctor's notes? Bring it on! How could it be any worse?
If you are truly selling your hme I would hope you have a good broker who understands the industry. I have no idea what multiples are in this climate but calling a broker would give you that information. Prior to competitive bidding 02 companies who were growing, had revenues of 1-3 million could fetch as high as 5000 per 02 patient. Or a high of 1.3-1.5 x annual revenue. If you could get through due diligence. Where is your location? That might matter too. If Rotech can't tear down your staff, and shutter your doors they will wind up netting less or even at a loss because they don't have a existing operation in the area. Find yourself a broker and in reality I think you are just making this story up. Brokers mormally would have been cold calling you to represent your interests if your store was any good.
What do you mean- "if my store was any good"? You know NOTHING of my store or market size. I suggest you troll somewhere else.
Look fool, you are the one who is crying " Rotech won't buy my store " If your store was producing any profit every Broker in the industry would want to represent you. Since you have no offers I assumed your store was either a make up story or a joke of a operation. Deal with it.
No kidding... Another inept business owner looking to avoid bankruptcy like Tim Pigg did. Who knows maybe this idiot can become CEO too
