Now that deductibles have gone through the roof and IDTF's are therefore expecting payment up front for pox's, i feel that I might have a "think out of the box" solution. When confronted with having to ask a pox candidate pay up front for our much needed pulse ox, we should at least provide them a means to finance it when their funds are lacking. If we partnered up with a Payday Loan company we could foward that loan form to the patient, maybe even on the same day we recieve the doctor's orders.
I don't understand a word you wrote. WTF are you talking about partnering up with a payday loan firm? That would be the worst possible outcome for any limited income patient. BTW the pulse ox isn't a treatment method but a means to see if oxygen therapy is needed and to qualify patients. The docs office should handle the pulse ox and if pps is providing the 02 sats via their pulse ox its no wonder the FBI has been camping out at all of your offices. You might want to read up on payday loans or maybe this thread was satire?
