I was curious as to what type of drug screen would be taken. Is it hair? Or urine? And before someone jumps on my nuts; save it. I don't smoke regularly, but also don't think anything is wrong with it. I smoked about 5 weeks ago and was wondering. Thanks in advance.
Just a standard urine test. Unless its changed since i was hired 3 years ago but I havent heard anything otherwise. And ive had friends hired recently. Also, ive never had a drug test since my hiring
If you're not a regular user, your ng/ml levels should be low enough to pass after about 15 days if not sooner actually. Never been drug tested, although, if you are injured on the job, technically they do have the right to require a urine test within 24 hours of the accident. Refusal will cause termination as that's presumed guilt. So, if you get hurt in a hospital delivering something or doing an in-service, they could require it. Probably won't happen though.
What if you get hurt during a throat chopping session between yourself, your manager, your best friend surgeon, best friend resident, associate rep?
Some funny responses. No, I'm not a regular user. It's as simple as this, I smoked once in the last couple of months and just don't want it to show up on a hair test. If by chance it is a hair test I'm just going to confess my story and see if there is an alternative. Thanks for the replies.
I dont know, but usually it covers : credit, felonies, and something else I'm forgetting. Hope this helps.
Newbie here. Really appreciate any help in advance....... I know this question is wide open and could have a variety of different answers - based on the hiring managers process, HR and even the specific business unit that you could be interviewing for. But what is the AVG time from beginning to end? Thanks in advance!
It is a urine test. Although, it's not really to test your urine it's to see how big your wang is. Anything less than 7" is failing. Just get one of those realistic rubber dongs and you'll be fine.
Didn't you post the same thing on the Integra board? Same response: you're an idiot for making a stupid decision during an active job search and for asking such a dumb question publicly. I take it you didn't cut it for Integra? If not, then it's highly likely you won't make the cut for Stryker either, although I'm not sure which one is more uptight.
