There is something wrong when the people that you work for just lie to you. It amazes me that liars are never called on the carpet and asked to answer for the lies they tell.

WTF!! It's been months since we signed our agreements and our pay is still not right, teams still aren't right, questions still aren't answered, leadership keeps lying and telling us it'll get better. It isn't getting better and looks like it'll only get worse!

KC group is getting ready for the 1 yr guarantee gift to end. What does the "real" contract look like? Right now we are at 10% and the company pays for our sub reps.

Don't expect that to continue, especially when rest of country is at 7%

7% and sub reps are to be paid by senior rep or team leader. KC seems to have gotten a deal just to get people to sign contracts. Once the deal ends the reality is tough to swallow for some highly paid senior reps.

Looks like its still 2002 in KC.
Have fun with that reality check.

As one of the former Biomet coverage guys in KC to be placed on a Zimmer team to work this is a big concern. How are we going to be paid when the Zimmer leader wants all the money? Cluster!

The standard contract is 7% and senior rep pays for coverage help out of their commissions. Kansas City did get a great deal to get reps to sign as did other problem areas but those deals end!

There is absolutely no way ZB can pull this off in Kansas City. Too many senior reps and too much business at risk! It would never happen

If we have to pay for our coverage reps out of our commissions then a lot of the old Biomet guys are losing their jobs. I have 3 on my team and could get by with 2. It's the same all over KC!

You guys need to wake up to the facts! You will eventually be on a standard deal. Depuy, Stryker and whoever else won't touch you with the non-competes that are in place. Everyone knows that those who could move business did so already. Good luck in kc gang!

In Kansas City we have been lied to by the new Biomet manager, the former Zimmer manager and the Biomet AVP. All 3 have just lied to each rep! What's coming is not fair and totally unethical after what was promised. Competitors won't touch reps with the new contract that was signed. Zimmer/Biomet wins again!

You folks in KC are whining about what the rest of the country is already dealing with. Get your resumes dusted off and ready or just shut up and take the screw job that's coming!

These contracts are one sided and very restrictive if you decide to leave the company for a better opportunity or to make more money. It's clear that the reps who could leave have already left and the ones who are still here have no leverage and ZB knows this! It's the same all across the country

Our contracts are ending soon too. We were a couple of months ahead of KC. It is ugly...take it or leave it. Corporate doesn't seem too concerned about possible losses.

Make sure you read your contract carefully. There is a lot of reps who have not signed new deals yet that think once October comes they will be out. Be careful

Most of us in KC haven't signed the new agreement...took the one year deal and got paid. The old contract should be void correct? What will happen next?

Interesting thread! I've seen a lot of thoughts and hopes but the facts are scary. New contracts will be signed by all, rates will come in line with the entire sales force, if a rep has coverage help on his team he will pay for it. California reps left but they don't honor non-competes in that state. If people have options they don't stay.
