Total crap. Pfizer is buying Allergan in Q1 2016. Abbott is not going anywhere. No buyouts per Wall Street .
Not true. Amazon is looking at buying us. The plan is to replace our 500 field reps with drones. These drones will deliver product to offices and hospitals. They will also be voice activated to give physicians a specialized sales message and hospital inservices. They are just trying to figure out how not to crash into children in the waiting rooms. Once this glitch is solved the deal will be announced. Happy Holiday Milkmaids!!!!!!!
Abbott , as a whole, is doing ok. If bought out massive RIFs and total dislocation. Will not happen. MW might sell a division on two (ADC), but not all of Abbott.
I Connections at GE and they are NOT interested. At one point they were until they saw how poorly Abbott is managed.
To make matters more confusing there was a rumor elsewhere that Abbott was the buyer for Alcon eye care but the deal fell through because Abbott wanted everything, even the Alcon campus, but NVS isn't ready to see it all. Chew on that for awhile.....
