what is the total number of fines GSK has paid since the merger? Unbelievable!!! Every time there is a fine it should come from the bonuses for the CEO and SVPs. Shareholders should be very very upset at this incompetence

Great Business, as we made more by keeping the generic off the market than what we paid in fines.

    Wake up and stop complaining.

Most of the bad behavior and questionable business practices occurred prior to the Andre Witty era. We have JPG and his cronies to thank for most of the fines and bad press GSK received over the past ten years. Witty unfortunately had to follow JPG. One may questions Witty's business strategy but his ethics are those that make me PROUD.

I counted it one time and it was like 7 or 8 instances that had NOTHING to do with JP. Some BS markets like Poland, etc but staggering as to how many instances of fraud and malfeasance have occurred. This doesn't count practices like GSK scientists writing unfounded technical articles in med pubs as well. There is a reason that integrity doesn't have a G S or K in it.

Well let's see......if you are still employed you obviously are unhappy...so quit.
Well let's see......if you have been fired your skill levels are lacking...so be quiet.

Greg Thorpe & Blair Hamrick whistleblower case resulted in $3 billion civil fines and penalties , along with $1billion to settle the civil case. All under sir Andrews reign. Anything under JPGs reign pales by comparison.

HR investigated the whistleblower claims and found them to be credible. Instead of a course correction, gsk fired the whistleblowers and sent them into the hands of an employment law firm. Same stupid approach was use to handle the China investigation. Incompetence at the top spot.

JPG hired sir Andrew. The biggest mistake of them all

Whilst you besmirch the reputation of Sir Andrew, rest assured he is working hard to push forward his novel pharma model of high volume low margin products. He will be recognized for his genius within five years.

Spot on mate. My genius will be that I avoided the Board's scalpel for the time I did while I stuffed my pockets with such a backwards strategy. On top of it all, I got the company to pay for the condo which made for nice accommodations while I visited my younger bloke at UNC. You expected me to actually stay in a hotel on my own dime?

Five years?? I'd be surprised if AW or even GSK is around in 5 years
