It is when you have bizarre decisions by leaders

Here are some examples of my experience, cannot believe I am still here:
    • Evaluation were not based on defined objectives.
    • Never had objectives nor a review for the year.
    • Moved into a position with no qualifications
    • Promoting friends and family connections
    • Asked to lie about expense
    • Promote only ass kissers
    • Documents doctored to put a favorable spin
    • Information excluded to create misguidance
    • Show favoritism to pretty ones
    • HR human tools working to cover up for managements

This organization will Never recover from the years of abuse it has put upon its employee base. The leadership (lack thereof) continues to be recycled from division to division.
Nothing good will come of MRK.

Brown noses promoted, middle management is filled with dishonest crooks looking out for self interests, the real drug hunters are almost extinct. VPs bully or turn a blind eye waiting for retirement.

mrk is a culture of narcissist and a total wasteland for talent. imagine only handful of millenniums thru out the company. not a real world experience.

Sales rep females given local spots and the males are on the road all for the same compensation. Managers playing favorites are in for a huge legal surprise. Look at any district and you can tell the favored vs. the screwed. Sad because the screwed are the talented and the favored are the slop. Good news is I have seen some top talent reps at external interviews lately, some with many years in. Expect big departures soon so stay tuned!

You want to see a mess? Head out to sunnyCalifornia, major problems. Horrible CTL's, no trust & backstabbing people. Lifer CTL's who think they are the bees knees but have zero skills. Merck needs to send them back to manager school for at least two weeks. DCO's have no idea how badly reps are treated and the antics that are happening. I won't provide names as nothing will ever change, DCO's are fooled by lipspeak from CTL's. I am giving notice in two weeks and heading for greener pastures. To those who stay, speak up and do not take this crap anymore, go to HR, speak up.

Newbie here, isn't there a statute of limitations for managers? Seems all the gripes are about field sales managers, how long is too long in that role? Sounds like an overhaul is in order, biotechs require managers move on up or down but not in the same place. Then again, we are not biotech just a company in deeeep trouble. Why o why did I ever join this Co.:(

Try West Point more managers vs workers and half the directors have zero direction. More data = more confusion. Micromanaging idiots who think they know something. VPs with no backbone. How will this place survive? Look at the trash in the pipeline. Last few forced clinical POCs dead but still trying.

I call BS on women being paid the same. I highly doubt it unless theyre a protected class.
