The first to go is 50% of the CV group, that decision has already been signed off. Many remaining will be converted to contract.

Things might move a little quicker now that the FDA rejected the new indication for Vytorin yesterday. I believe that group was planning to rally around that new indication. Patent expiry is soon anyway.

Don't think so jack off. New CTL's just hired. New CV Reps just hired. New DCO just hired. New marketing manager just hired. Sucks ass being wrong all the time doesn't it?

You are an idiot. The meetings are for upper management not lowlives!

Look around. Is your productivity significant enough to justify your position? Gone are the days of big pharma cash flows so obscene that people could hide among the inefficiencies and waste. Now everyone is being scrutinized. If you are in field sales, are you generating the incremental sales growth to cover the cost of your position? Do the math and you will have your answer. You can be sure that senior leadership is doing the math.

I for one could care less, there are plenty of rep jobs elsewhere, just give me the $$package. The smart reps at Smerck have plenty of side gigs going on, often times bringing in more annual $s than they earn here at Merck. I know one guy who has flipped 17 houses while working here, after taxes he has amassed a cool 2million profit. Other than some cell calls all of this was done outside of work hours. I know another bloke who just closed a strip mall land deal and will rake in 500k profit this year. The real tycoons simply laugh at the bonus or lack thereof at Smerck. The ONLY way you will make good dough here is if you are a DCO or above. CTLs are laughable and braggards. 'I have 25 years in with a lump of 1.2 or a whopping 5k monthly annuity'. That ain't dic#!.

1.2 you have wasted your work career. $5000 a month won't pay my bar bill!

Do you want a corner office or a working schedule from 10am to 1 pm?
