Stop already! This drug is a dog and we flush more money down the toilet. Efficacy no better than the generic options and costs $1,000. Valeant is not good at launching drugs they are good at cost cutting so lets cut some costs!

How about that Xifaxan Superbowl commercial? Won't stop the Salix sales force Exodus. Movement of Ja people! Put that in your pipe and smoke it.;)

Last Super Bowl it was the Jublia Fungus Toe character, for this most recent Super Bowl it was the Gut Guy for Xifaxan, and next year...?

Well, obviously it will be the Addyi cuddly female brain mascot, the one that doesn't realize what it desires without its hit of Addyi ("It's all in her head."). Valeant bought Sprout Phamaceuticals in August 2015, and with the FDA-agreed-upon 18-month lag time until Valeant can advertise, that will punt Addyi into SuperBowl 2016. Yay.

Superbowl 2017 for Addyi. But better drugs are coming in the pipeline, better than Valeant's. Ones that don't leave the consumer puzzling over the Black Box warning label, or passed out and with low blood pressure.
