Stryker KC versus Depuy

Whats going on in KC? Stryker just lost a big deal in Galena to Depuy. Depuy just hired their best rep in Wichita and will soon take business there. Anyone know?

 

Could be hiring a local Biomet guy to run things and going distributorship. Things may be changing soon!

 

If we could make more $$ I'm all for it!

 

Depuy leadership is out of Iowa distributorship. A local Stryker change wouldn't be a big surprise because they have a great group of strong reps, great products and strong logistics. Leadership is the weak link.

 

Did all the Biomet reps get laid off in KC?

 

Haven't heard that but I believe we picked off a couple

 

Depuy is making some big moves and throwing out big $$. Wouldn't be surprised if we lose 1-2 long time solid performers.

 

Depuy getting after Stryker in St. Louis now. Stryker officially out in the BJC system and they have a 2m consultant there. Stryker leadership can't be happy with that move! Local manager is a joke!

 

Dr. Barrack will not implant anything but Stryker...period! BJC will not risk losing surgeons like him and the volume that they represent. Stryker will remain a player!

 

We may be out in the BJC system. Decision is coming soon. You will see surgeons leave over this.
