The salary increases are a joke. RL is clueless. Rob, I hope you wake up. You're going to lose more good people. Just another bad decision from senior leadership.

And just wait for round 2 of layoffs. Nobody will opt in.

I'm embarrassed to be a part of the "new" DSI. The real winners are those that got a fat severance and can move on from this shit show.

I guarantee another 25% of retained reps quit after getting screwed on the salaries.

"Congrats, you're now a hospital rep. Here's $85k. But, pharma companies usually pay $100k?! Tough shit. HR has determined you fall in the appropriate range. But if I quit, you'll have to hire externally and pay someone $100k. Yes, we know."

Yea but when that person quits, DSI saved themselves $20-$40k in WARN and severance pay.

The new DSI are the chosen best to try and fix the mess the old DSI created

wow. the delusional and arrogance here is unbelievable. this is exactly why most people are happy to be let go. have fun with your poop drug and low salary. if you are so smug and happy why are you boasting on cafe pharma?

This is the biggest joke of a comment. Do you realize that the majority of the people retained have little to no experience both with DSI and in pharma in general. Their salaries fall well below the tenured reps. Even with the so called bump in pay, their base pay is still significantly below the reps let go. It was strictly a cost cutting measure and someone called this scenario months ago. Check your ego at the door, you are not a rock star.....you will be on the chopping block in a matter of months because this titanic of a shit show company is going down....

hahahha! Movantik reps think they are selling a pain drug.....they have to be reminded its a poop drug. It is not a clinical sell....not scientific at all....a basic entry level product that a monkey could sell.

To address the above poster, so true.

Bust this time next year they'll have CL108. Now thats funny!!!!

And don't forget about Mirogabalin. It was supposed to launch in 2015, now maybe 2017. In July of 2017 they'll be telling you it's 2020.

Oh, and one of your big chemo agents, Quizartinib has already failed Phase 3 in 1 indication. Probably will be yanked in the other. The rest of your Phase 3's have about a .00001% chance of success.

And the story (KK spin) goes on, and on, and on...........

a lot of truth to this post. There really isn't much in new dsi's pipeline. I never thought much of dis other than its a great entry level for someone looking to start Pharma sales. Try out some of the more larger Pharma companies where there is higher pay and less stability. Guess it's a lose lose no matter how you look at it really.

The pipeline is pitiful. the next two drugs will face heavy competition with generics and are considered "me too" drugs. They will probably face a triple step edit....I was retained and now have time to look but my timeline to get out is the next 6-7 months. This is a sinking ship that no one can help. The "bump" in pay brings my salary to entry level compared to bigger pharma or biotech. The term "specialty" company is a joke. This is an entry level company... The products are embarrassing and no considered specialty at all, with the exception of Savaysa....which is a dog in itself. Good luck to all that were let go...I suspect you are the lucky ones and good luck to those who remain....that you get out soon!

You literally have no clue as to what is going on rookie. You were retained due to low salary and lack of experience to lead in what ever capacity. The leaders were cut, higher salary people were part of a 1Billion cost cut over three years while there are many quality people who've been retained, the tru STUDS were cut as they would have left shortly anyways. You are a delusional fuck tars.

pay a little more to keep the tards in line, but, so many of the best were cut for no other reason than cuts in salaries. KK wants to save 1 billion in 3 years. Keeping the lower paid runts was the only way. There is no doubt there are still some quality people, but, the best were let go in the cutting of costs. Nuff said.
