Seriously? This is what you're worried about? The packaging? Is cardboard even measured in "gauges"? How about selling one before you start complaining about the box its delivered in.

I think the OP was joking....pointing out that the difference between Triad and FT10 is so minimal you'd have to measure the thickness of the cardboard boxes they're shipped in to find a difference...

I'll give you 1500 reasons why this thing isn't going to reach cruising altitude anytime soon. Very disappointed in our management team for not owning this and playing dumb.

You've obviously never seen an FT10 power the HET system. It's a game changer! Like next gen iPod Apple type shit.

    A game changer heh? Cool.
The FT10 will be rebranded in time (to MDT) no?

I would sure hope the corporate MDT folks are 'policing' the work of the COV folks on this new product launch to assure "no corners are cut". Pre-merger COV has been notorious for corner cutting IMO.

You can also use it as a microwave, that is why we are going to price it high.

Back from NTM 5+ weeks and there's no communication from marketing or sales mgmt around the issue. I hope nobody is telling uppers that this is not a problem. You want FT10 to get placed we need answers and the old HET dude is useless. But he does like to surf CP so maybe this will get the message across.

FT10 + HET = magic. The hemorrhoids melt and wither before your eyes! FT10 reads hemorrhoid tissue 54,565,324,532 times per second.

Anybody else get the sense that this thing tripped over the starting line when the gate opened? Solid technology, dismal go to market plan.

If the goal is to have an impact on reprocessing, and replace Triads with FT10s, our current strategy will have little effect. A few years ago, EES traded out every harmonic generator in the US with the GEN11, effectively putting an Enseal generator (and eventually Ace+ tech) into all of their accounts. They didn't even give customers a choice, just sent out a letter, showed up one day and did the switch. I'm not advocating that we follow this exactly, and it probably isn't feasible given the installed base of Triads, but a move like this would crush reprocessing in relatively short order.

Now balance this with the need to drive capital revenue, and the fact that there is an existing capital forecast that will close indifferently to whether it's Triads or FT10, and we can't give the farm away just yet.

Give it a year (maybe less) for the existing pipeline to clear and for the need to recalibrate our strategy to become painfully obvious, and we'll be slinging deals left and right.

Balance all that with the fact that you also have a new competitor coming. You've owned the market for years and at the first sight of a threat, you blew your wad with the FT10.

What competitor would that be? Enseal? Thunderbeat? Voyant? Gyrus? Cayman? Altrus? Stryker? Sterilemed? Please, do tell.

Anyone hearing that the FT10 can hook to hospital intranet? Could this device or others like it become a trojan horse for hackers. These recent data breaches in the states are scary. If hackers can get into ultra secure government facilities why couldn't they use this device?

Destroying Stryker and Sterilmed with this console. Could have used this last year. I don't see them dipping their dirty little hands in the cookie jar for much longer. Bring back the good ole days.

Unless MDT starts swapping out the 20,000 Triads already in the field, it will be years before FT10 significantly disrupts reprocessing.

We are and we will. These unappreciative hospitals dont know how much R&D we put into these products. Time to get our sales and second homes back!
