Pusstheris is a piece of shit. 8fr. long set up. Takes forever. Watched 3 catheters break in one day and watched Simpson himself say that it will only work in very soft plaque. The physician had to pull Hawk One devices to finish the cases and they were finished with ease. There are only a few reps in the company left that can actually read OCT. They will probably have a honeymoon phase with some Pusstheris bulk buys but will continue to lose money every quarter like they have been when it's over.

 

Do not take this job, even if you are unemployed unless you get a 12 month guarantee. They get you to come over to this company with lies. They have no outpatient lab strategy, very expensive capital, if you are a rep you will be the one selling the capital so don't believe the bs about how there are reps that sell the capital and you focus on disposables because you do it all. Be prepared to have constant turn over in people. OCT is really cool but has a long way to go as far as ease of use and ergonomics, durability, usability in below the knee and calcium cases etc.

This place is the worst run company in the Med device Industry. Joe Rafferty doesn't have a clue. Jeff Soinski will be getting fired and Joe will be the new CEO. Never experienced anything like this shit show. It's a mess.

 

I though Borrell was running that sales gig??? When did JR take over?

Are you kidding me? Joe Rafferty is a disaster and has been for years. He ran Pathway into the ground and was let go and the same thing will happen here at Avinger. I've only been here a few months and I can already tell I made a huge mistake coming to this shithole. This is a sinking ship with moron sailors guiding it. I'm unfortunately looking for a new job again but that's life. The technology is also very questionable....having a lot of issues in the field with not only Pantheris but the Lightbox never works either. This company is a complete utter disaster.
