I have really tried to be positive and not give up on this position, but I'm done caring. The amount of micromanagement and bullying from my ABL has brought me to my lowest point in my career. The RD's and ABL's treat us like grade school kids. I did not think things could get any worst when Dagmar left, but WOW was I wrong about that. This new chick has made a bad situation into a catastrophe. Everyone on my team is either looking or on they're way out right now. I will ride out the rest of 2015 and hopefully find a new job for 2016.

I gave up a long time ago.Since the micro-management and field rides became the focus of the job I decided only to concentrate on these aspects. After the 2 day field ride is complete my focus is the next field ride. Between the field rides I do paperwork at home and rarely go into the field. When the next field ride occurs in 2 to 3 weeks I go see my customers again.I gave up worrying about bonus and work for salary and benefits.I average less than 15 hours a week total work. The MSBU focus has become maligned for so long leadership lost direction.Once you change your focus and realize you can't change poor leadership your work priorities only should focus on what they want.Swallow your pride and put your experience aside and you will realize how much this leadership team destroyed the potential in the MSBU and give them only what they want.

At the end of Animal house, there's a scene where Kevin Bacons character is standing amongst the chaos, smoke and riot trying to stay calm yelling "everything is ok", "everything is alright" until he gets swept away by the crowd. That in a nut shell is my manager and her 'thief' of a boss..... Not realizing the world has crumbled around them. Empty territories, unable to fill open spots, people dropping like flies, managers running for the door. But all seems ok in Novartian land... Anyone who's been in this industry for more than a week knows this place is in shambles....... RUN while you can!

P.s- interesting email of the Moonshot award, nobody from the field but people from home office. Guess it's hard to recognize a team when there isn't ONE team left intact..... (Nothing to see here.....move along kids)

The new chick is dumb as dog shit. She is all style no substance and the numbers prove it. People are quitting each week or going on disability. Is this the culture change you wanted?

If you start a new job sometime in the middle of january, can they stop you from taking two weeks of vacation all at one time starting on Jan 1? They will not pay for them if I leave without using, so why not use them?

Culture change will not happen until RBD and ABL changes are made. She needs to show that she is aware of the issues and will make the necessary changes. Currently it is lip service and she seems disconnected, unconcerned, and tolerant of the issues. When numerous teams have 50-80% turnover in a year this should be a red flag. Forget asking the ABL what the issues are, ask the reps and nurses. There is no reason the Pitt and Philly ABL should still be employed here.

Wait until the end of dec and beginning of Jan. This BU will be bleeding reps.

Maybe 50-80% turn over for the second and third time. Majority of the launch folks left within two years. They were much smarter than me. I would imagine that less than 20 of the original folks are left out of 120 or so. That number speaks for itself.

No it's fun to watch Alisha and her clowns try and figure out how to grow Gilenya. She is really lost and the salesforce has zero confidence in her. She has been here 1 year. I would grade her a D not a F because she does have a nice ass.

The one you cannot get. Already filled: TLL with Genentech.

This one because once we have convinced the FDA and neurology community that bpv is the key measure of success and we get that pp indication and the approval for low + slow titration to eliminate need for fdo, the sky is the limit!!! It will make all the belittling bs worth while.

LOL! I find that to be hilarious. Sad thing is if any other pharma company had Gilenya it would be the blockbuster it should be. Novartis only has itself to blame for screwing things up.

Why pick on Gilenya we know how pathetic Novartis is. They have lost billions due to poor leadership. " Hey everyone don't tell the doctors Gilenya is a Pill" How did that strategy work out. Funny thing the person who thought of that got promoted.
