    If you don't have big years in and were not at a high pay scale the pension is extremely modest. Some might say nanoscale. Being "retired" can mean you've got some extra grocery money. Most people will probably need to find another good paying job. This is especially true if they're not at full social security age. Get real, folks.

    The pension is also not cola adjusted. If you are under 50 and less than 10 years in, I would seriously be looking for a better job. They are out there, you just have to spend time searching.

    So true, you get less than you think you're getting without the cola and pepsi adjustments. True too, jobs are out there. They can be found amidst the needles in the haystacks. If you're a "young thing" under 50 think big...with a little investment in grey cover and cosmetic enhancement products you can be in like Flynn!

    I purchased many shares of Merck stock yesterday. The coming stock price increase will be very large after the new structure is in place. Praise be to Merck!
