    Hello,

I am considering working for Horizon. A couple of questions.

    1. What percent of the workforce actually make the bonus each quarter?
    2. If it takes a year to get your territory going will they be patient enough to keep you around?
    3. How badly are you micromanaged 1-10? (1 = None) (10 = All the time) generally speaking
    4. What is the average starting salary? Was yours negotiable upon hire?
    5. Once the territory is going are there "ways" to take the occasional afternoon off? (Yes/No)
    6. How long do you see this company lasting?
    7. How much time do you spend on paperwork/busy work that has nothing to do with your success?

I am not interested in hearing the horror stories nor the uber successful stories. Just looking for an average reps experience.

    Thanks!

These are questions better asked to a relatively successful TM in your area. Not to the mob on CP. But overall sound like questions a GSK rep would ask. Go get a big Pharma job

    - Majority make a bonus...you only have to attain 70%, one quarter they dropped to 50% and goals are more than attainable!
    - a year is a bit long and will certainly be expected sooner, but as long as you are growing, you're fine.
    - dude, that depends on the manager, but most in my experience are chill. Just hit your calls and get admin stuff done on time...I'm lucky if I hear from mine once a month!
    - salary varies on experience. I hear lower if new and only b2b background but I negotiated and got mid 80's.
    - ummm of course! No one works a full day! It's called airplane mode!
    - already lasted longer than I thought and dodging bullets with all these pharmacies...def ways to get around the "system" (you'll see), so they'll be here for a little while longer!
    - they run bs contests that add some busy work but worth it...again you can earn some mad cash by playing the system if you're tight with your "pharmacy"...otherwise it's a joke, no paperwork.
