It makes one wonder if a major announcement is being prepared.

Please give us a heads up if you know anything else about the upcoming layoff in sales.

I was thinking the same thing. We have experienced many reductions at AN, I cant imagine losing more and still being profitable.

You all are so stupid. Go out and do your job and don't worry about layoffs. This thread has been going on for a year. IF YOU DON'T LIKE YOUR JOB....LEAVE!!!!

Screw you. The reality is simple, companies layoff. Abbott sneaks in a few hundred every year. I turn around and one of my fellow workers at ADC is gone. Every once and a while Abbott does a big RIF. The RIFs have slowed down a bit but are still on going. I stay because the money and benefits are good.

The hypocrisy at companies is just amazing. "Work hard and you will prosper" management says. Well the R&D group here at ADC work hard on Libre and other products and many were forced out or laid off. ADC cut hundreds out of sales marketing a few years back. It's bullshit. So the plan is take what you can get then move on.

I will take this on priority and do the needful.

    ,

You have probably been with the company less than 5 years and have no ties to coworkers or the products that we sell. It has nothing to do with not liking the job, it has everything to do with losing something you feel you are a part of. I wish you the best wherever you land next.

We don't care about layoffs. We care about the playoffs. Abbott is a tanking company and will be sold in the next couple of years. But Abbvie will be the next company to be sold first.

Sound like one of the PDP's that have been fleecing the company and moving on, nice.

Q3...MW will be giving the Abbott status soon. Heading into work...see if I still have a job.

Another ra ra meeting tomorrow, should be interesting to see how the poor sales performance will be spun before the impending layoffs happen in the next 2 weeks.

The meeting went well, I enjoyed hearing that we are pouring money into a bar business that is volital and not longterm sustainable and the testimonials about our products were less than encouraging.

What testimonials? I have not been able to access a replay of the meeting.

So I saw the testimonials, I am disappointed.

I concur - the testimonials were, as my female rep stated 'a ballsuckers gathering' I think that sums it up.
