Outside of Cadavers has anyone seen the gastrisail device used on a Live patient?

Yes, full launch next year. It's going to be in the "cool looking but not clinically necessary product" quota bucket.

As such, marketing has overestimated the value and price by at least 2X.

Every doc I've talked to about this product feels it is cool but completely unnecessary. The price is way too high for "cool".

This could be an excellent opportunity to get into competitive bariatric procedures, IF it's priced right. Unfortunately, it's "proprietary technology" so we feel the need to charge a premium. Bummer...

Give it 18 months of missed projections, and customers will be able to name their price.
