    To call Greg a bad manager is kind of a misnomer. You see Greg never really managed anyone. He was totally lazy, never returned calls, did not help reps in anyway useful at all.

    So Greg may not be the worst manager, only because it would be an insult to managers everywhere to call Greg a.manager.

    yes...he is completely worthless and a horrible leader. Haven't met too many people that he manages that respect him. Completely self centered and treats his team like they are there to make him money. Very unimpressive in front of customers. If he lost his job, which he never will because he is so entrenched and a lifer, he would probably go sell cars where he would fit in nicely.

    Now, Now Greg once stood up to corp for me. Steph was only going to pay me 50% of my expenses for being so late. Greg told me how he fought for me to get me paid 100%.

    Then I reminded the dumb SOB that I personally handed them to him 3 month before he got around to sending them to Steph to be paid. He as so incompetent that he did not even know he was incompetent.

    Yes, I remember that for 3 promo meetings in a row he said " you know I have not been a very good manager" And 20 people in the room nodded their heads in agreement. How he ever made it through training is something Medline should go back and fix. A person like him should have never been put in charge of other people.

    I have scraped dog shit off my shoe that had more use than him.

    Steve Harris definitely took the award for the worst manager! So glad they finally made him retire; he had no idea how to sell! In with a customer and he is in the corner practicing his golf swing!

    What most people do not understand on how Greg Smith managed to stay at Medline for so long is. The very second he saw Steve Burns stick a necklace up his nose and pull it out his mouth, Greg knew he had found the moron to attach his career to. Greg promoted Burns every chance he could to get Burns into upper management and now Greg Smith works for 'necklace nose' and can never be fired.
