Work in sports med right now (3 yrs) was told by the synthes rep that an associate spine gig is open. Any thoughts on the opportunity? Good and bad. I'm aware and concerned of the synthes/JNJ fallout considering if heads would be rolled I would be low on the totem poll but overall how's the opportunity stack up? Pay? QOL? Etc... Currently making about 130-140k while BUSTING my @$$. don't have a problem working hard but would/should be making more. Thanks guys

you will work harder and more random hours than you do in sports med. you will not make what you are currently making in an assoc role. probably half with benefits.

If you are a rookie and you can get the job done do not settle for the associate oppt. waste of time. Find a strong rep and become a sponge. Make your own money not the petty cash they throw around.

Opportunity to move into a full line position or is it unlikely?

What can a Spine Territory Manager make?

Anywhere from $70k to $700K depending on the size of the territory.

Only a few doing $700 or anywhere remotely close to that. Most likely $200k
