    How true. This whole pharma sales model is broken. I feel like an idiot delivering food. I actually was asked if I was the District Manager for Jersey Mikes Subs. The only reason I continue is to get my six figure salary and to bang several nurses.

    Our "great company" earned the largest fine in the history of Big Pharma. As a result, we have the most stringent CIA out there. Lets call a spade a spade, shall we? We are marketing reps, not salespeople.

    Look at this company. We sell our oncology division for a vaccines portfolio. How are those contracts going over there? We have a diabetes product that could be a billion dollar product if the company would just put a little effort and resources behind it. Instead, we continue to lose formulary contracts. Thanks Jack B. The respiratory portfolio is too confusing for the docs and we have not found a way to formulate a clear message or strategy. Way to go marketing!

    All this and Cheryl Mac and Jack B. get up in town-hall after town-hall and act as if the company has a bright future. How do they get up there and behave like nothing is wrong with our organization? How can they just lie? Is this what I am supposed to respect from our "leadership team"? When will GSK figure out that lies are what has created one of the worst corporate cultures in history along with the largest government settlement to punctuate that point. When will we right the ship? How many field level managers do we need? You have some managers who have a team of 5! Are you kidding me?!!! How many times do reps need to take TSMs into the same accounts every month? Now with Sales excellence coaches we have to figure out new and creative ways to not piss off the few customers who will still see us. GSK...Andrew Witty....what the hell are you doing?

    Some people like to spend their days whining and complaining. They look to blame anyone else for why they are not successful. Here is a thread where we see this situation very clearly.

    Most of the big players are operating under a CIA. Our leaders negotiated & integrated patient first into the CIA. Self inflicted wounds from the clown car leaders.
