I've had enough of this jerk. All he talks about is how great things are going to be. We are all working so well together, ess dss oral injectable, his he joking??? The ess reps dont do shit, I mean they dont work, are they showing any results? His calls are so bad, he says stupid business school stuff with nothing that helps us. even my manager says he is not respected. Will they please get us a leader who can lead us, im just so discouraged. Last week his call was a waste of my time. Will this coming call be any better. He is the worst leader we have ever had.

He is a smart guy. However, dividing the sales force was a huge mistake. What differentiated us last year was portfolio selling. Now we mimic every other diabetes company.

Now the argument he will make is we are on budget and we are projected to hit our goals. What he won't share is both the GLP and SGLT market have grown at an unexpected rate.

This is why our company will hit volume and profitability, however lose market share for the year.

    Great reply.
Probably the only reason Topher is still around is the fact the company makes money despite his really bad decisions.
Can anyone top that first reply?

The only time I've heard from ESS this year is when they set up a program and wanted help recruiting attendees. Topic was for BYD, I'm an oral rep. Sorry but there is no incentive for me to help them out. Not to mention they are KILLING my bonus checks! Grew my SPT and the DIRT more than wiped out the gains. Tired of carrying their @$$! I never realized how bad it was until I saw iPerform.

I wonder if the numbers would have been better with the model of 2014? Reps do feel the dysfunction of the model change and the "I" behavior which hurts our company long term.
    Great post and extremely accurate.

One of the best replies I have seen in a long time. Unfortunately, we have not got our fair share, but he will be saved this year due to volume increases in market. It's unfortunate that we do not use are resources (eg the reps) more effectively in the field. My guess is he will double down with same model next year. It's like Obama telling us the economy is strong.

    Dysfunction is the perfect description.
I'm sure the numbers would be so much better if they had left it alone. The split sales force has us competing against each other. How can they not see this.

He's not that smart. We HAD a smart VP, but the worms at HQ had to replace him with the prep school brat who has never carried a bag. AZ just couldn't leave a good thing alone. They had to ruin it, as always!

Yeah, right, stupid business school "stuff"...this is why you're where you are and he's where he is.

Exactly right! All of you idiots are complaining about nothing that's important! Look, I averaged 2 hours a day last week of REAL work, and the rest was wonderful playtime! Our numbers are good. So, I worked 10 hours last week, screwed off 30 hours, and you think I am going to complain about that???? Please learn how to play the game, and I promise your life will be MUCH happier! It's all just a game that can't last with idiots like Frenchie paying over $2 billion for a drug that is already behind coming out in the market, and will likely be the 3rd entry IF it ever get's approved!

Yes this place is run by fools, but there is nothing you can do about it. Just suck them dry while you can, and reeelaaaax!

    Right on Spicoli...
'...Why don't you get a job Spicoli...all I need are some tasty waves...'

I guess working just ten hours gives you time for that.

Well, maybe he will be fine, but WE ARE FAR FROM FINE! Bring back B.J. From what I recall, we had one of the best launches ever while he was in charge. Everyone respected him and facts don't lie.

Good advice, and I think many people are finally waking up to the fact that we are damn lucky to work at AZ! Look all around at all the companies that have a huge layoffs the last 4 years! Our last one was almost 4 years ago for field sales. That's amazing!

"Bring back B.J. everyone respected him." Now that is really funny. I think I just wet myself from laughing so hard.

You want a real hardy laugh, How about Let's bring back Tilton? Yes indeed, that would be our ticket to utopia. But why stop there. Let's bring back Zook too.

You always wet yourself hard after a session with Topher. B.J. is still here and Topher is an ass and a phony. Genius in his own mind. Tilton and Tuller somehow went to a better company. I'd say they made out better than the rest of us.

Tilton and Tuller, a blow hard and a blow job.
