BOOM - The Layoffs of 2015 have begun - Post Here

This is VERY specific and detailed... was there an email or meeting where this was shared, or are you one of the lucky ones that's "in the know"?

 

This is seriously messed up how they won't give us the exact date in December. WTF!

 

What's every one's take on the latest RL voicemail? I can not believe that we are going to be forced to COMPETE for the positions left in our territories....

 

My take is that they're trying to push people out now so they'll have less people to lay off later and less people competing. They're creating new positions and having everyone compete. Forget tenure. Forget any promotion anyone has earned. Forget experience. Forget anything in your past or even anything current overall that a normal company would look at like overall ranking. It's ALL about Movantik and Savaysa TMOTs now. Period. Done. I also think they've looked at the numbers and no matter what anyone does from here to December matters at all. You could go from the bottom to the top and it won't matter. A lot of it will be political. It's all crap and it's a shame.

Everyone at DSI should be job hunting right now. Half the sales force is a huge deal! These DM's having their reps act like nothing is going on and making 12 calls a day? That's insane! No one knows if they'll have a job come January. Not even the DMs. And if the DMs get passed over, they can interview for our jobs which makes all of our chances worse.

When January gets here, I think so many people will have found other jobs and be gone or be interviewing. Some reps will take the package and job hunt or leave. Some will interview just to have a job while they keep looking for something else. Some reps will interview because they have a golden vision after Rob's "biopharma" model. What's the phrase? "lipstick on pig"? The biopharma modeled company is still being run by these people who have consistently lied, made horrible decisions, have nothing in the pipeline, etc. They'll lose strong good reps because people just don't want to stay here anymore. It's sad.
