Field Sales Rep Voluntary Program?

  1. Here is a question? Why doesn't KK & RL offer up a voluntary termination program for field sales reps? They are doing it for everyone else above our paid grade, why not us? It would get rid of dead weight and the people who really don't have the passion to sell for DSI anymore. Here is even a better idea if they offer it to the field sales rep, do at a discount of 10% of their weeks paid, but that offer is only good till 10/15/15. After that it goes down to a 5% discount

    Would you be willing to do it?

    Because they still have to hit their Movantik PDE's and they can't get a contract force up and running quickly enough to accomplish that. They are essentially giving you six months to find a job, so I do give KK props for that.

    My guess is a minimum 4 months (end of January); possibly 6 months (end of March). In a sick way, it is a somewhat compassionate way to handle this situation, basically giving everyone 4 - 6 months to find new jobs if need be. One major problem is very few companies will be hiring, or even interviewing between now and the end of the year. And this "plan" is not the idea of Keller and Liesicky; this is the Japanese culture. If they were truly running this show we'd all be gone before Christmas.

    I'm a seasoned vet (Hospital Rep with 27 years in the industry / 19 with DSI) and I'd take the VTP right now (additional 12 weeks on top of the 30+ weeks I'd get now).

    I lost the passion 2 years ago. It has only gotten worse the last years or so since the launches of Savaysa and Mo. Both of these drugs are dogs and no matter how hard you work and how passionately you try to sell these dogs, you have very little chance (many factors - need, managed care, and on and on and on). I'm just playing out the string.

    Anyone wonder what's going through the minds of our RD's and ABD's after toady's email. Like the above poster I would take the VTP if offered and move on. So its really not a bad deal for these people but does anyone wonder where their heads are right now.Tthink any of them are thinking "long term"???

    They're only thinking about themselves and their families and their futures. They don't give a New York rats ass about any of us. So don't listen to a word any of these phonies and your DMs say cause they don't care about you.

    Now, back to the field you dummies. Hey, who's winning the NAPA trip anyone think its still a go???

    Haaaa what a joke this company is. Ill work till they tell me to leave and find something else to do cause I don't care about them cause they don't care about mw
