Heard Northera goals doubling for 2016! Account Managers working harder than they have ever in their careers for the most part in very largeterritories developing the market. Making lower salaries and less bonus in product launch !! Enrollments are coming in but not what Lundbeck expected. Neuros occassionsly write. Finding some CDs that are interested. Good product but not first line. Account Managers are frustrated and have begun to look for other specialty positions. Wake up Lundbeck!

The psych team has hit the wall. Morale grows worse by the day. After the Rex launch meeting, I think even more people have begun to see what's out there. I don't think management has a clue what's going on out here. Our new CEO couldn't even find time to address a national sales meeting. Probably planning another layoff.

    Beta here:
Hate is the only word to describe my job. I can't wait to get out of here. I am so irrelevant with 25 Otsuka and the gamma rep breathing down my neck. Why do I leave the house every morning?

There are so many reps making calls that I'm not sure anyone would notice if you stayed home.

I can't believe we waited 5 months for this ridiculous version of the Northera treatment form. We went from 3 to 5 pages and everything is too crowded on the form!!! You should see the look on the faces of the doctors and staff when I show (and confuse) them with this cluster f*ck of a form. So much for simplifying things. I'm convinced that the home office doesn't have a clue to what the field needs. Did you ever think about getting our input?? (and if you did, you asked the wrong people) One look at this and most of us would've told you forget it. I didn't think it was possible, but you took a crappy treatment form and made it so much worse!! The maintenance dose page should be eliminated and the HIPAA release shouldn't be the last page. Congratulations!!! You should all be soooooo proud of your incompetency. I can't wait for the new sales aid. I'm just living the dream selling this product.

Ummm they really don't give a crap about what the field thinks. Wow talk about full blown delusion. Here's how it works. A consultant, probably from NY, came up with a form that has been sold to a dozen or more ad agencies and those agencies then presented 3 different options to the brand team. The team then met at various focus groups/ad boards across the country all on expense accounts in till a consensus was agreed upon, finally viola you are here. Totally pooched. BTW this will be your new marketing directors 4th failed product. Add to it a new corporate head that genuinely does not understand orphan drug/rare disease and you have a rush to get out the door by all of your key people. If you really still wonder why your life is so hard right now, the answer is that you are just too plain stupid to survive in pharma sales in this day and age.

I agreed with everything you said until the insult at the end. I've actually been very successful in this "day and age" and still have one foot out the door. I was guilty of feeling some loyalty to this company until last year. That's when anyone affiliated with bringing this "dog of a drug" on board started to leave. They stand up there and tell you what a bright future we have, then they take the first train outta here. To survive in Pharma these days you need to look out for yourself. Loyalty only gets you a severance package.
