When we ALL realize that ALL lives matter things may change. Until immigrants accept assimilation and honor the laws of our land the world will remain a jungle.

Womens health cuts reflect a move to all woman's field force. Very few men and most are of color!

What the women's health cuts Showed was that actual sales performance and revenue growth had nothing to do with who was retained. All that matter was did you kiss your managers ass enough to get good BDOs or APRs and Field Activity. how many signatures did you get and were they before 10am and after 4pm because signing for samples is somehow a measure of a quality sales call. Sometimes a detail only is worth more than s doc blindly signing for samples to move onto the next patient. We lost senior reps with real sales experience and top performers for years and what is left in its place are some talented reps mixed with ass kissers. I hope the talented ones kicked the ass kissers out of the division and force real change that gives the new WH team a real fighting chance at survival. But I know several reps across multiple regions that are so upset by the new sizes of the territories that they will be forced to leave and without the severance packages we got. Some say they wished they had been let go instead of stuck having drive times more than 2hrs or now covering multiple states. How is that productive I ask? A happy and satisfied sales force that feels appreciated and well compensated will always perform better than one that isn't. When managements understands that , WH just might make it. I know a new father who went from a territory that had him home by 5:30pm to one that might have him home after his son is asleep. How long do you think he will stay??? Treat your reps well and they will return the favor everytime.

What a joke your company is. I used to work for you dumb asses, and it was the worst job ever. A bunch of corporate dummies, all of you. And yes, I quit because you suck after 1 year, because I knew PFE didn't reward results.

You quit after 1yr or were fired/laid off? No one quits a $100,000K plus job for doing nothing unless they had another one lined up already or left against their wishes. Especially while we are still in a recession and Pharma sales isn't what it used to be. To find a job I really enjoy vs one to pay the mortgage and child support would be great, but no longer really possible in the Pharma industry. Good old days are over.

That's where they put the affirmative action dummies.

The race thing in this country is like beating a dead horse. Really, whos a gives damn. All it about is jealousy and evy of that particular individual or individual s for whatever reason. For example a white person doesn't like this particular black person but seem to be okay with the other black person and vice versa. It not racism its just good old fashioned hatership. Lol Of course when it comes to money you can best believe all that race whoo goes right out the window. None of it is really that deep.

I must say, it is exhausting shouldering all the privilege, favorable bias, unconscious positive bias and just good mojo that I get everyday for just being white. When will someone understand that it's tiring to be helped so much? I think I need a 6 week short term disability to work through the guilt of all these benefits.

The race card is always used when there is no other intelligent, viable solution. Racism, bigotry, etc. always go both ways. As Trump said so eloquently, there is blame on both sides.
Until we all simply accept we are all different, there are bad people in all races, creeds, sexes, etc., this country will continue to circle the drain. We really don't have to love, or even like each other to move our country in a positive direction. All it takes is a little respect for each other.

We need more diversity in pro sports, too. If society is comprised of 35% of a certain race or gender, then the pro teams should mirror it. This may result in teams with less talent, but the diversity objective is more important than winning.

As a district manager from 1997-2005, I remember well when during our massive hiring missives, employee-hook up candidates' folders were bright yellow, and placed on top of the stack of other folders. These folders were almost always kids from Bergen, Somerset, Westchester, Fairfield, and Nassau Counties, and were referred by a small number of people working on the 15-18th floors. Back then, diversity meant kids that went to SUNY Purchase, Rutgers, Fordham AND Fairfield Universities. They weren't the best people I interviewed by a long shot! But they were hooked up, so if I didnt hire them I had to explain to HR why Muffy or Chip would not get a spot on my team. I don't remember anyone (other than me) raising a stink about that referral program, a very clear affirmative action program for kids from some of the wealthiest parts of the country.
Lets stop with the fallacy that at any point we've hired or promoted only the most qualified candidates, OK? Furthermore, up til about 8 years ago, if you didn't have the R-Gene or if you weren't aligned with either Dee M, Clint + Tom G or Ricky B, good luck getting promoted above DM.
Last point: look at many of the RMs, Director Team Leaders, VPs of Sales, and GBMs that were let go from here i the 00s. If these people were the best of the #1 pharma company, they would've been snapped up by our competitors, right? Show me 6 Pfizer RMs or VPs that landed at Novartis, Merck, GSK, Sanofi (before Olivier got there) NovoNordisk, Lilly. Most of them congregated in just a couple of small-time companies, and many bounced from job to job every 2 years. Wanna know why?

Wow, I could have written this verbatim. Most of the connected nitwits are now at the "well regarded" Publicis where they act like kings and treat people like shit.
Pfizer has been deteriorating for a long time. Wanna know why?

Spots on a team are determined by play on the court or field. Who determines promotions in the corporate world?

Publicis Touchpoint is a ghetto for dethroned Pfizer RMs and State Directors. Ditto small companies like Sunovion and Shionogi. I checked LinkedIn, and most 15 or so former "fast-rising" DMs and RMs work at one of these three companies or are pharma consultants of some type. I dont see many in Big Pharma at all.

Add Lundbeck and Ostuka to the list. But youre right, most of the big-shots from when I got here in the early 00s either work for themselves or at one of the companies you listed. Publicis Touchpoint looks like a friggin 2002 TACU meeting about growing Lipitor share!
