    Pink slips are getting handed out at HQ on thursday- heard from friends at hq that eyeryone is on edge-

    lets face it there are obvious places to cut - double ups of vp s in some departments stuff that no doubt could be done cheaper in india/china....research projects on the scrapheap...

    OMG the axe falls at HQ - like per usual the managers protect the managers - some heads that should have fallen are still there..how does a company expect to innovate when they keep the same old tired heads who cast aside anyone who offers new ideas or ways to improve - DISGUSTED - I thought hard core was supposed to offer hope

    Can you tell us a little bit more? Which departments suffered the most? Will anyone from top management leave?

    above poster, please let us know what departments were affected. Also how was it announced? Each person called one on one? Or were you all brought together to be told of the lay off?

    Layoffs are rough on those getting terminated and those who go the terminating. In this situation innocent employees suffered a loss of there jobs because of a bad economy and poor ROI. Generics well become more prevalent and more will feel the axe. Our country is broke and there is over a 100 trillion in unfounded government programs such as Medicare , Social Security, etc. we have great products but there is very little cash to pay for premium drugs. Europe,China, USA, we are not immune. Save your money, work hard and thank God we have survived this round and pray for those that were severanced thru no fault of their own.

    What's the severance policy here? 60 day WARN, followed by two weeks for every year of service? Do we get any accrued vacation?
