I'm a current pharm rep looking to get into device. I have an interview for a foot and ankle sales rep in the south, and I'm wondering if this is a good division to get into the industry? Is the money worth it these days? (I actually do work hard...lol)
That's a full division? Lol. Maybe a start but not a paycheck. Stay in pharma if you like an expense card and a car. Ortho is a mess these days. Big money days are gone.
The volume just isn't there, in foot and ankle, to make it worth your while. If you're comfortable in pharma and have a good gig I'd stay. Stryker doesnt have great benefits and their reputation is mediocre at best.
