I'll bet many on Wallstreet get the perk of dry cleaning.

The car is not free. We pay $150/month for it.

you sound like that prick Neidermeyer.

It's actually in print for everyone to see. Oh wait, you're in sales so you probably can't read too well.

Employees are expected to exercise good judgment in choosing the appropriate
attire during business hours or when representing the Company. The Company
recognizes that the level of formality depends, to some extent, on each
employee’s position and scheduled activities. In particular, the Company expects
all Field Sales employees to wear business formal clothing when making field
sales calls or otherwise meeting with customers. For business meetings and
other internal events, employees will be notified prior to the event as to the
acceptable attire for the event (i.e., Business Dress, Business Casual, or
    Casual).

Summer time , steamy humid suit, tight collar/tie getting paid to stand in a closet (35 yrs+ aged adult , male.) for 30 minutes at a time..just have to chuckle when the fresh your female rep saunters in down the opposite hall wearing something light, tight and revealing..the 'boy' docs stumble over themselves to offer up a signature...that's ok , I can kill another 20 minutes here in the closet with my iphone.

    Thanks.

So what's business formal mean and how does it differ if any from business dress?

I buy the washable suit separates at Sears.
Calling on the skunky offices in my territory, you better wear something that wont transmit
    disease.

There is no dress code. Companies have been sued in the past over this issue. You merely need to look professional.

Have coastal/beach territory - nice gig..favorite counterpart used the "it's my day off , but I'm just stopping in real quick to see if you needed any samples on my way by"...he'd do this wearing shorts and flipflops hit a big clinic in morning on way to beach, do the reverse later in afternoon..probably got in 4 signature/4 non calls for the day plus was well tanned and rested. Naturally he was promoted up to specialty rep.
