To start, yes. Most of us will be playing catch up. The volume potential is there so keep at it. A lot beginning to take form, some have written. Others have patients they are actively starting

yes the speaking whores will scrape a few patients the rest will utilize a generic ace or arb for about 40-60 bucks a year & perhaps add their own 2nd component like a 2 cent diuretic that's more efficacious & safer

It's the best when idiots post that have absolutely no idea what they are talking about. Your lack of knowledge is comical.

In the case of ScamTresto, great to see that the PBMs are doing the job of the FDA. Overprice drug. Total joke.

what's so great about a diovan combo with an additional unstudied, potentially harmful component priced 100x a potent ACE like altace with proven outcomes ?
The survival difference was barely 2% Vs low dose ancient vasotec Vs 2 drugs
a washout period, biased patient screening , dubious controls & biased early termination.
    Please enlighten us

Thus the reason why there's no demand! Novartis must think our customers are stupid, but they don't seem to be buying the rhetoric.

It has potential but novartis wants it at rocket speed. It's a much different market the. The. We launched other drugs. Oh and the trust factor, there is none. There is no trust with pharma and physicians and no trust with novartis management and the reps. It just take time and novartis doesn't like that. By the time it kicks we will all be gone but that's my opinion ...

Read the study. The NNT is 21 to avoid the primary endpoint. That is very significant. If you don't know what I'm talking about, please quit...

What was the NNT when compared to an equivalent dose of Vasotec?

Nice try dumbass!! Too bad the PBMs have your number.

You're really have NO idea what you speak. Check out the Acc/AHA guidelines, dummy. The dose is 16.6 mg daily for systolic dysfunction.. Why? Let me spell it out for you. No other data exists to support otherwise. The NNT doesn't apply here. You're incompetence is blatantly apparent. Talk with any competent HF expert and they'll confirm the dose was right. They may push the dose to 20mg bid for patients that can no longer be medically managed. Makes the provider feel better, but overall does nothing different for the patient. Nice try
