Sure, the books show profit increase due to the price increases but now insurance companies are dropping Vyvanse or requesting alternatives first. In 7-8 years, I have never heard so much griping about Vyvanse cost and coverage. Well done, Shire.

But we must fool everyone onto thinking leadership is doing such a great job!!! These false growth numbers just show how truly pathetic they are!

why do you think they are pushing out more coupons than previous years? Its all an illusion to make the doctor and customer think Vyvanse is affordable but increasing the price on the back end to make insurance companies take the price increase hit. Of course they were going to catch on to that and start pushing generics even if they are completely different drugs first. In the end the patient suffers.

It's a short term strategy to make as much as they can before they move on to the next company. They couldn't care less how it impacts the company, patients or the drug in the future.

Hey just think, you still have 8 more years of patent exclusivity. Good luck when Vyvanse has a market of share of about 2.5% in a year from now
