We had a town hall meeting today. The Crestor, Symbicort, and Nexium brand teams are very pleased with the impact we have had. Now we will be promoting Tudorza. Looks like we'll be around a while longer.
Feedback from the brand teams has definitely been very positive, but true nobody has mentioned anything about 2016. Staying cautiously optimistic the contract will be renewed but also prepared for it to end in a few months.
Then where the hell are we all going to go?? Been checking the job boards but there isn't much out there. Working as an inside customer service rep making 35k with a headset and stuck in a cubicle all day is unacceptable. Most of the sales opportunities require "aggressive" selling skills and personality types and/or specific industry experience.
Do you think they would hold a town hall meeting and be anything but positive and upbeat?They want us to work hard and get every drop of blood out of us and then dump us.
Yep I was planning on leaving pharma but all the inside type sales jobs pay about 45k per year. I would die being stuck on the inside all day! Guess I'm pharma for life!
