Nobody likes him. Who cares? He's not been hired to be liked. He's been hired to create value. Now that everything has been put upside down (and for the most part, it was the right thing to do, albeit not in the most agreable manner) Now that THE big opportunity has been missed because of too much self-confidence Now that the same self-confidence is perceived as arrogance in front of the next target So now that no more value can be created (by the way the reasons for the new combination are purely financialistic, nothing on the business side)... ... what's next? Stick to it and place your bets it's not going to be too long now.
What will be more fun to watch is the revolt that takes place against Perry and Kathy once their "Godfather" is no longer around.
We can only hope you are right. People here would not place bets -but give money -to be rid of him and the selfish, pathetic pukes he brought with him. If he leaves soon maybe Shire can salvage some of its reputation. We are seen more and more like a greedy selfish Pharma company that people love to hate. We have garnered a lot of negative attention. Not a good thing for a company who is blatantly cavalier about their CIA. It would not take much digging for this house of cards to fall.
He's not going to leave, this is only the beginning of his revolution. Attaching any hope to your departure dream is a true waste of hope!
CEOs fates are tied to the stock price and performance. What would be the motivation to leave or for the Board to push him out?
He was there to raise value (by streamlining and buying a pipline) in an effort to sell us off. If that is not in the cards any longer and the strategy changes to build for the long haul, then he may not be the best option for this.
The only B&L trolls are the ones that have infiltrated our company. Meanwhile the Shire legacy people who built this place would rather watch Kathy and that half a fruit Perry fuck themselves right out of a job. But then again they will follow the smell of Flemming's farts right over to the next train wreck of a company they infest.
