We have all heard the rumors of the pending layoffs. One approach could be to have wave one be all of those with a compliance violation. Then after 75% of the existing management is laid-off, we should not need a wave two.

So, can anyone honestly tell me what the OEC does?

OEC does nothing!!! I had a case where i had direct documented evidence in hand that there were compliance issues being perpetrated by an employee (signatures, etc). OEC flew from Chicago to TEM and tried to turn the whole incident around!!!. They are as underhanded and crooked as the rest.

Someone needs to look into the practices of certain ACR&T management who favors and appoints their former Scios trolls to position and moves them around before layoff. The favoritism and nepotism (without bloodline) is rampant for this group. Unfair hiring and termination practices!!!!

Look at the start of this string. Open up the actual case report. The Director of Internal Audit was investigated by the OEC because she falsified her expense reports. She had to pay back the stolen money. She not only kept her job, but was promoted into the OEC. Explain this to me!!

How do layoff packages work? I assume it's based on salary and years of service. Can anyone confirm?

Both are included in the formula - you get a base payout and then an additional week of pay for each year of service.
